Maker’s Tip:

For the best grip, I recommend sanding the surface between 220 and 400 grit. Afterwards, sandblast with 80-grit aluminum oxide at 3–4 bar (40–60 psi). A finish at 400 grit offers the ideal balance between grip and an attractive appearance.

To restore the full depth of color, apply a very thin layer of wax and buff it by hand. Be careful not to apply too much, as a thick layer will noticeably reduce grip. If this happens, you can easily restore traction by continuing to hand-buff the excess wax away.
